Arthritis is the process of wear and tear in the cartilage section of the joint

3. Repetitive high impact movements due to occupational/sports requirements

5. Alignment issues
6. Surgeries within close proximity
If you are in your 4os you definitely have early stages of arthritis in at least one or multiple areas of your musculoskeletal system but you may not be aware of it since you are either not experiencing pain or the pain is manageable at this stage.
Your body is extremely adaptable. It instantly changes the way it moves as soon as any sign of pain presents itself. This process is so quick and subconscious that you may not even notice it.
This is why there is a large time-frame between the onset of arthritis and first sign of noticeable pain.
We highly recommend a neck to toe joint check If you have entered the 5th decade of your life. This assessment allows early detection of any possible arthritic changes in your body and assists you with the best strategies to not only prolong the life of your joints but also to improve the current functionally of your joints.
It is not too late if you are in your 50s and 60s or even 70s unless the arthritic changes are advanced in which case, conservative management is unfortunately ineffective and surgical intervention becomes the preferred treatment.
